- Shipping & Delivery
Most orders will be processed and shipped on the same or next business day. If you absolutely need your order shipped same day, please phone our sales staff for rush processing options (additional fees may apply). If your shipping address is different than your billing address, your information will need to be verified with your credit card company, which can delay shipment. If we are unable to verify this information, your order may be cancelled without notice; please ship to your billing address when possible to avoid delays. Please allow three to five business days or more for assembly and testing of systems, barebones, and motherboard combos.
You will automatically be e-mailed an order confirmation, typically within a few minutes of purchase. The e-mail will include a link where you can check your order status. You will also be e-mailed when your order ships, and this e-mail will include your tracking information. Our computerized e-mail system only currently works with online orders; phone orders will not receive confirmation and tracking updates.
- Privacy & Security
Your privacy and security are important to us. All orders are processed through Yahoo! shopping's online checkout system, which employs 128 bit strong encrytion on your credit card information and other personal data. All credit card numbers are regularly purged from our system, so even in the unlikely event of a hacker attack you will not be compromised. We will never sell your customer information to any third party. We understand the importance of customer privacy and stand against cross-selling of mailing lists between companies. We find this practice highly unethical.
- Returns & Replacements
If you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from PC Direct, you may return it within 7 days of the delivery date for an exchange or a refund if qualified (eligibility conditions listed below). All shipping, handling and insurance charges are additional and non-refundable. Normally, all returns for non-defective reasons (e.g. customer changed mind) are subject to a 15% restocking fee, minimum $6.95. This fee does not apply to defective product returned within the dealer warranty period. For all returns shipping must be prepaid by the customer, insured, and bearing a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number on the shipping label and/or container. Any shipping charges incurred when returning product to PC Direct are the responsibility of the customer. Contact us for an RMA number, which will be required to ensure proper crediting of your account. We cannot accept returns without an RMA number. Returned products must be undamaged, clean, and in otherwise new condition with all original materials i.e. original packaging, manuals and accessories, and must be accompanied by the original invoice.
Each item's warranty terms, including dealer warranty, are clearly stated on each item's page on our website. Some items carry manufacturer warranty only. PC Direct will warrant these items against defects for 7 days from the delivery date (non-DOA warranty), after which time repair/replacement must go through the manufacturer. All software is NON REFUNDABLE. If the installation CD / DVD media is defective or damaged, PC Direct will replace the broken media with working media (e.g. a burned copy). If there is a problem with the installation code / COA number, the customer must contact the manufacturer directly for support. Motherboards, CPUs, and Memory do not qualify for refunds. Such items can be exchanged for the same model only. Complete Computer Systems and Barebones are custom built, and are not eligible for refunds. Any defective parts from Computer Systems or Barebones under warranty are eligible for replacement only.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Prices are final as of time of an order and good within two days from the time of a Purchase Order. Please note: Due to sales and promotions, online prices and retail store prices may not always be the same. I am sorry, but our retail associates cannot match website pricing and the web department cannot match store prices. All products are shipped F.O.B. (Freight On Board) and become the sole property of the purchaser upon delivery to the specified shipping agent. In case of shipping damage, customer should contact us immediately, so we can promptly file a damage claim with the carrier and expedite a replacement. Any discrepancy, including wrong items or missing items, should be reported to PC Direct within 36 hours. By purchasing from one of our web sites you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions.
